Etcetera: By the Fans, For the Fans Guess what! This section is still growing, so if anyone would like to submit any fanfiction or fanart, or any other related stuff, PLEASE do! It simply has to have something to do with Rinoa or FF8 - otherwise, what's the point? :P Submissions can be sent to me here. :) Also make sure you read the information about submitting in each section. But now, without further ado, you may enjoy the lovely work of many talented artists & writers! .. Err, sorta. That's awesome and it makes me happy. ^_^ However, please try to keep some stuff in mind: the only image files I'll use are .JPG and .GIF. If you send me something of another file type, like a .BMP or .PNG or .PSP, so long as I can open it in PaintShopPro and change it to a .JPG or whatever, then that's cool, and I will do that. Also note that if you send something to me to post here there's a chance I might resize it if it's extremely large, or reduce the color depth if it doesn't bring down the look of the artwork. Why? Because I have limited space! I'm sorry. :X I wouldn't do anything to alter the way it looks though, and I would only resize or color depth it I thought it was just too huge. And even then I would do it only if I could get away with it without ruining your picture; I'm picky about how stuff looks, I don't want your art to look bad either. Anyway, I just thought I would inform you now and save you the trouble. :) I'll accept any kind of FF8 fanart, so long as it's decent - and by that I mean, that it shows some effort, and also that it isn't porn or something. :P I have no idea why someone would send me that, but you really never know. Fanfiction Empty at the moment. Submit? Same as fanart, there's some stuff here to keep in mind: Please send your fanfiction to me in a usable format. I'd prefer .HTM or .HTML files, but .TXT and .DOC are cool too. I will only put up here what I have the time to read. Multichaptered fics are fine, but.. If I can't stand to read it all in one sitting, I probably won't finish reading it, and I won't put something up here that I haven't read. So just be aware that really long stuff.. yeah, really long stuff doesn't work here. Sorry. :/ Anyway, I'll definitely accept anything up to a PG-13 rating, and I'll accept an R rated fic so long as it's whole purpose isn't just to be sexual or violent - if it's GOOD, I'll put it up. In fact, that really goes for any kind of fic you send me. I'm not going to put crap up here, make sure you spell check and use paragraphs and stuff.. Other Fan Media At the moment, this section isn't too large, but it includes any kind of "real life" Final Fantasy VIII fan stuff, like cosplay or radio play.
Cosplay, submitted by Rinoa(site/email): 1, 2 So far, these things don't have their own section because I don't have enough yet.. But, you can sure submit if you've cosplayed Rinoa or if you'd like to display your vocal talents in a radio play (from a real FF8 event, or a fabricated one.. so long as it's FF8), or simply by just recording some of Rinoa's lines. My guidelines are pretty much the same from the fanart/fanfiction section: if your stuff is in .GIF/.JPG or convertible to those formats (for cosplay photos), or .WAV/.MP3/.WMA/any other media file that's reasonable (for radioplay/voice acting stuff), send it in and I'll be very happy put it up. :D Return: Etcetera |
